About the event

Grieving is a unique process for everyone who experiences loss. You don't have to face the process alone.

“Walking with Grief” means learning how to engage your experience of loss in life-giving ways, in order to support your healing over time. Coming together with others who are facing the pain of loss can be a powerful part of the healing process.

This quarterly workshop welcomes participants who are facing any form of loss or grief. We will define what grief is and explore ways to move through the pain of grief with self-compassion. Participants will be invited to join in discussion, awareness practices, and creative activities to help support their personal grieving process. Each session will explore a unique facet of the grieving process. Sessions are designed to be consent-based and responsive to participants’ needs, meaning each participant can choose if and how they want to engage the suggested materials.

Forest Wedding

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Kate. She asked us thought provoking and engaging questions which helped us put into words what had drawn us together as a couple. As she got to know us as a couple and individuals, she began to tailor the ceremony so that it best reflected what marriage meant to us. Every time we met with Kate, we left the meeting feeling stronger and greater clarity regarding what our marriage and ceremony would represent.

Kate was excellent at logistical planning. She perfectly understood a variety of traditions and ceremony structures and allowed us the flexibility to choose what best represented us. The ceremony was beautiful and multiple wedding attendees stated that it was the best ceremony they had ever attended. Kate is also the kindest and most welcoming person. She  was our favorite person to work with throughout the whole wedding process.

Mountain Path

“Kate has been such a blessing to my life. She brings her wide array of knowledge and vast educational background to each session incorporating movement practices, yoga, restorative poses, meditations, energy work, breathing techniques, somatic work, visualizations, and so much more. I love that she incorporates the body and energy into our sessions as it gives my body sacred time to process emotions and circumstances. Kate listens deeply with her heart and reflects back what she hears along with nuggets of wisdom and hope that always leave me feeling heard, seen, and at peace.”
